How It Works<\/strong>
Coil construction is one of the oldest methods of forming pottery, dating back thousands of years across cultures. It\u2019s a slow, meditative process that offers a great deal of control over the shape and size of your piece, and just as importantly, it encourages creativity and personal expression. Each participant is free to design and create their unique form, making no two outcomes quite the same. At Zolta Studio, creativity is encouraged, so feel free to experiment with shapes and let your imagination guide the process as you build your unique piece.<\/p>

Good to Know<\/strong><\/p>

Once your piece is finished, we\u2019ll handle the rest. It will first be bisque-fired at 960\u00b0C, then coated with a transparent stoneware glaze, and finally high-fired at 1200\u00b0C to ensure a food-safe, waterproof, and durable finish.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Would you prefer to glaze your work yourself? We offer a dedicated glazing session (highly recommended for beginners), where you can decorate your piece with color and apply the transparent glaze.<\/p>

Additional ready-made glaze options are also available for purchase at the studio.<\/p>
