Zolta Ceramics Studio for pottery and ceramic painting in Vienna

Our Space

Zolta Ceramic Studio is a space where raw clay becomes meaningful art through focused practice, teaching, and production.

The studio includes dedicated areas for wheel throwing, hand-building, and ceramic painting, along with a small coffee bar and a curated shop offering ceramic artworks, tools, and materials. Visitor parking is available on-site.

What sets Zolta apart is not just its layout, but its community. It is a place where makers exchange ideas, techniques, and a shared passion for ceramics.

Ceramics Making Studio

Open Studio on Friday’s! Our ceramics studio is for both independent making and guided learning. It features six pottery wheels, generous hand-building tables, and a layout designed to support focus, flow, and experimentation.

Opens on Friday’s to independent artists and makers, shaping their ideas in a quiet, inspiring environment.

Each session offers space to slow down, follow your hands, and discover what clay wants to become.

The Painting Bar

Our painting bar is designed for those who find joy in detail and expression. We offer a wide selection of ready-made ceramic forms, from small everyday pieces to sculptural shapes, each one thoughtfully chosen and waiting to be transformed.

Surrounded by a rich palette of paints, brushes, sponges, and tools, this is a space to explore and leave your mark, no experience needed, just imagination!

Zolta Shop

Our online shop features a curated collection of ceramic art,  one-of-a-kind pieces created by our lead ceramic artist in Zolta studio, made for collectors and those who appreciate the depth and detail of contemporary ceramics.

At the studio, you’ll also find a selection of specialty tools,  glazes, and thoughtful ceramic gifts available exclusively in-store.

The Café Corner

A little warmth is brewing at Zolta.

Thoughtfully tucked into the rhythm of the space, we are cooking aromatic coffee brewed to perfection, alongside a selection of thoughtfully crafted drinks and flavors to warm the hands and lift the mood, adding a delicious layer to the studio’s atmosphere.

Founded by Syrian ceramic artist Sirin Al Masri, Zolta was born from passion, persistence, and a deep love for the transformative power of clay. What began as a quiet dream took shape through years of hard work, personal sacrifice, and a relentless belief in the magic of making.

” As a woman building something from the ground up in a new land came with doubt, restarts, and hard lessons. Yet every corner of Zolta holds part of that journey.

Watching Zolta grow from a dream into a living, creative community has been the greatest honor of my life. And every time someone walks in and touches clay for the first time, I’m reminded it was all worth it. “
