Start your day with pieces made by your own hands. This workshop invites you to create a breakfast set that’s as personal as your morning ritual, made, shaped, and decorated, entirely by you.
Description
Create a One-of-a-Kind Breakfast Set
In this three-session workshop, you’ll design and handbuild a personalized set of up to five pieces. Choose from round, oval, or organic freeform shapes, and explore surface decoration techniques to create a set that reflects your style.
The first two sessions take place on consecutive days and focus on forming your pieces using slab-building methods. You’ll shape plates (up to 25 cm), cups, or bowls while experimenting with texture, carving, and imprinting. Natural materials such as pressed flowers and plants can be incorporated for added detail, feel free to bring your own for a personal touch.
One week later, you’ll return for the third session to decorate, paint, and glaze your bisque-fired pieces. They will then undergo a high-temperature firing at 1200°C, resulting in a finished set that is food-safe, waterproof, and built to last.
Workshop Structure
Day 1+2 : Shaping & Designing – Handbuilding, carving, texturing, and imprinting natural elements
Day 3 (one week later): Decorating & Glazing – Painting with colors and applying a transparent stoneware glaze
Good to Know
All pieces will be dried, bisque-fired at 960°C, glazed by you with a transparent stoneware glaze, and glaze-fired at 1200°C to ensure a food-safe, waterproof, and durable finish.

Final pieces will be ready for pickup within 2 to 4 weeks after the session. No prior experience needed!
