Description

What We Will Cover

– Clay Preparation & Wedging
– Centering & Control: develop precision and consistency in centering
– Throwing Techniques: experiment with different forms such as bowls and cups.
– Scaling Up: throwing larger pieces.

– Trimming & Surface Refinement
– Decorating & Glazing: final touches through surface decoration and glazing

Good to Know

Each participant will have access to 8–12kg of clay for practice, allowing for experimentation with different forms and sizes.
You can keep up to 4 finished pieces, which will be bisque-fired at 960 °C. We offer a transparent stoneware glaze, which is then fired again at 1200°C to achieve a food-safe, waterproof, and durable finish.
Want to explore more colors and finishes? Additional glaze options are available for purchase at the studio.
Your completed ceramics will be ready for pickup in approximately 2-4 weeks after drying and firing.
