Description

The vessel is softly swelling from being coated in a cratered, mineral-rich glaze that recalls oxidized earth or weathered coral. Along the rim, a constellation of looped ceramic protrusions punctuates the silhouette, like remnants of function, ornament, or coded ritual.
The glaze invites the surface to speak. Pale ash tones fuse into muted rusts, forming a skin that appears both ancient and elemental.

Two large circular handles extend from the sides. A heavy, hand-linked chain made of raw, unglazed pinkish-tan terracotta clay is threaded through the handles and drapes elegantly over a white display pedestal in a softly lit gallery setting.
