Description

Ever wondered what it feels like to shape something from nothing? This workshop is ideal for beginners with no prior experience in wheel throwing, who would like a guided introduction before exploring the world of pottery.

What we will cover

– Wedging and how to prepare clay for throwing

– Try your hand at the pottery wheel

– Practice centering on the wheel

– Explore pulling and cylinder-making techniques

 Good to know

Once your piece is complete, we’ll take care of the rest! First, it will go through bisque firing at 960°C, followed by a coat of transparent stoneware glaze and a final firing at 1200°C, making it food-safe, waterproof, and durable.

Your piece will be ready for pickup within 2 to 4 weeks after the drying and firing process. If you’ve made additional pieces and would like to keep them, we can glaze and fire each for €12.
