Ufuq (أُفُق) Horizon

The vessel’s carved vertical rhythm creates a landscape of shifting shadows and reflections, allowing the glaze to move across its surface like a changing sky. Layers of blue, indigo, and purple flow into one another, revealing new details with every change of light and every step around the piece.

Its twin circular handles rise above the form like celestial rings, framing empty space as deliberately as the clay itself. They create a sense of balance between presence and absence, weight and openness, earth and sky.

Hand-thrown, carved, and finished with a glaze developed through extensive testing and experimentation, UFUQ is a reflection of Zolta’s fascination with transformation, the way fire, minerals, and time collaborate to create something that cannot be fully predicted or repeated.
